Amala Paul is one of the fastest growing actresses in South cinema now. She was launched with Tamil film Mynaa, which won her excellent critical acclaim. She was noticed by star heroes and has been offered glamorous roles despite making debut with an art film. The recognition and increasing attention got into her head that she lost few opportunities that are proving costly at this point.
Amala was offered Vagai Sooda Vaa movie early in her career and she accepted to be a part of it. The director asked her to do rehearsals for the role but the actress rejected to do so after she bagged a hit with Mynaa. An irked director replaced her with Inaya, who is now hogging the limelight with that film.
Amala also lost the opportunity to star in Dhanush movie 3. She didn't attend the photo shoot of this film saying that she is busy with Telugu film Bejawada. This irked Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the director of that film and she kicked her out. Shruti Haasan the original choice is now doing the same film.
