Pretty Richa Gangopadhyay will play the guest appearance that hottie Katrina Kaif played in the Telugu remake of Bodyguard.
In the Hindi version, Katrina was seen in a two-minute appearance.
Nowadays, Tollywood makers are reluctant to take chances even with guest appearances, since a popular heroine brings in more crowds than a newcomer, so producers don't mind spending few lakhs of rupees, to give a boost to their films.
Director Gopichand wanted a popular heroine to do the cameo. After success of Poovai song in Dookudu he wanted rope in Parvati Melton. Venkatesh had other ideas, he recommended Richa who was the co-star in Nagavalli. Director agreed to hero's advice and zeroed on Richa finally. Let us see how the bubbly actress performs.
