King Nagarjuna has always been a shrewd businessman. If as a producer he has always chosen the right projects without going over-board for the sake of producing films, as someone looking after the affairs of Annapurna Studios, he has been very pragmatic in his moves. He recently launched a film institute in a grand scale. It's the pride of Hyderabad. It may not be first of its kind but it's unique in way because of people associated with it. Nagarjuna got some top class filmmakers to work for his institute. Mani Ratnam, Kamal Haasan, Prakash Raj and Suhasini are involved in this project.
Nagarjuna should be praised for setting forth with the aim of driving a transformation in the media and entertainment sector. In his own words, which he made to a popular English-language daily, "Annapurna Studio's latest strategic partnership with Reliance MediaWorks (RMW) is futuristic and one that seeks to drive new growth opportunities in transforming the media and entertainment sector in the country." Let us hope Nag brings all the laurels to Tollywood and Andhra Pradesh.
