Versatile actor Kamal Hassan feels like a proud father looking at the growth of Shruti Hassan as an actress.
"I'm proud of Shruti. Even though there wasn't much backing to her from my own banner 'Raj Kamal Films'(except giving a chance to do the background score for 'Eenadu'), she made a mark of her own in the Industry. Shruti is a star now and I hope she will continue her winning streak," said Kamal.
Putting aside the reports in media about his film with Shruti, Kamal said only script will be the key in deciding that combo.
"Shruti keeps telling me that we should act together. But, I don't want to do it just for the business sake. The script will be the key," he said.
His second daughter Akshara, who is working behind the camera unlike Shruti, reminds Kamal of his early days in the Industry.
"Whenever I see Akshara behind the camera, I feel like looking at myself. I started my career behind the camera and later became an actor," Kamal told.
