After Sonakshi Sinha opted out of the project due to the delay of films start, numerous names havedone rounds for the possible replacement of the Dabangg girl.
Pooja Kumar, an NRI has finally bagged the coveted role to feature alongside the Dasavataram star.
Pooja so far has cross-over films such as Flavors, Anything For You, Park Sharks and Night Of Henna to her credit. Sameera Reddy, Shriya Saran and Anushka Shetty’s names were also considered before Kamal finally locking Pooja.
Viswaroopam, a big-budgeted action thriller will see Kamal wielding the megaphone after his 2004hit “Virumaandi” [Pothuraju in Telugu]. Selva Raghavan was the first choice to direct it before dates made him handover the project to Kamal. Bollywood actor Rahul Bose is playing an important role in this film which is slated to release in Tamil and Telugu in 2012.
