Panjaa Audio Review: Stylish and Energetic !!

Special for Musicheavens.com Readers:Powerstar Pawan kalyan Panjaa audio was released on November 20th amidst electrifying atmosphere in Gachibowli stadium.Even since the first look posters are out, fans are going gaga over movie release and audio release got huge importance to keep up the ignited 'Panjaa' fire.Yuvan Shankar Raja scored the music.Let's quickly analyse how far Yuvan could justify his crucial role as music director for most prestigious project of Tollywood.

This song is a sweet melody, which induces dejavu of manisharma 00' soulful music."Ringa Ringa" fame Priya Hemesh and "Konte chooputho"(Anantapuram) fame Belly raj rendered this melodious song.Song talks about romantic chemistry between hero and heroine.Coming to Music, though this song offered nothing new, it has the 'Yuvan' brand melody, mixed with .Over all this song is neat melodious composition from Yuvan and one of the best melodies in the recent past.

Lyrics: Ramajogaiah Sastry
This song sets off with a folk beats.Saloni made her debut into telugu movies with Panjaa.Her low pitch voice added a different feel to song.Lyrics indicate this song is a Item song,Music-wise, it is chaotic,beats do not really qualify for a regular Item song, inspite of fast beats here and there.Music offers nothing new.On a whole this song is just ok and will grow on you when listen to it repeatedly.

It is the title track of the movie.As publicized in the teaser, this song gives a fresh feel and right mix of fast beats and philosophical lyrics.Sastry did a good job at penning powerful lyrics to suit the mood of the movie and raise the expectations bar among powerstar fans.Yuvan himself rendered the song and he did a very good job,his rendition is similar to AR Rehman's at times.However, song doesnt match upto Pawan kalyan's previous title tracks such as Jalsa.You might feel,energy and intensity should have been little better
On a whole , this song has enough potential to rule chartbusters for coming weeks.

It features voices of Pawan Kalyan and Brahmanandam.Hemachandra did a very good job, he has that ease in his voice that makes listeners engrossed to the song.More importantly this song has comical lyrics and Hemachandra did a good job emoting all those in his voice.Co singer Sathayan also did a fair job.Music is fresh and catchy.
Brahmanadam and Pawan's voice in between adds some good humor.This song is slightly parallel to Rajadhi Raja Veeradhi Veera(Andala Ramudu).One might get a feeling that Pawan Kalyan's voice is bit loud and boisterous, repetitive 'Kottu Kottu' is little awkward.
This song was shot for 5 days and Brahmanadam announced that Pawan Kalyan made rigourous homework for dancing to the fast beat drum beats in the song, and the short clip of song(Video) shows his effort.
Ela Ela...
Vocals: Haricharan & Shweta Pandit
Lyrics: Chandrabose
It is trademark Yuvan's stylish melody.Song starts off with a pleasant note.Haricharan(Son of Hariharan),male singer, is perfect bill for the song.Shweta pandit is very expressive and clear in diction.Music is very stylish and beats are catchy.Though it is typical Yuvan's melody, it carries enough freshness and gets into you very quickly.The romantic as well as melancholy play up to make Ela Ela the unique one from the album.Lyrics are adequate from chandrabose.
Kshanam Kshanam...
Vocal: Shweta Pandit
Lyrics: Chandrabose
This is a bit song and more or less a repeat of Ela Ela.Swetha Pandit rendered the song in a hurried way, little slowing down could have helped the cause.On a whole this song is just ok.

For any movie, audio acts as a crucial marketing step in the pre release.With enormous reaction from the first look teaser and posters, audio's success became a must for Panjaa to live upto the expectations.As hyped, Panjaa's music has complete fresh feel that can cater to all sectors of audience.Especially the title song, it is already ruling the chartbusters.Apart from that melodies such as "Anukoneledhugaa" and "Ela Ela" are soulful with brilliant composition.However, rest of the songs should have been little better.On a whole Yuvan has justified his part by producing terrific music.
We have to wait for couple of weeks to find out the weight of the songs on the silver screen.Theatrical is already creating tremors among fans.It has showcased a complete platter with Action, Emotion, Entertainment , Dance and fights.Looking at the audio and theatrical, even with minimum convincing plot,Panjaa has every chance to become blockbuster.Lets hope pawan's charisma and efforts payoff with Panjaa.
