We are aware that the IT Sleuths have knocked the doors of Superstar Mahesh Babu on Thursday, Nov 8th 2011. The officials have conducted raids at the Filmnagar residence of actor, which include gathering the information about Mahesh's income generation resources and recovering some key documents.
However, sources close to the actor deny the reports of IT Raids.
"No, It was not an IT Raid. Upon hearing the rumors about his profit share in Dookudu collections, the IT Official came for an enquiry. They gathered some information regarding Mahesh's remuneration and Tax issues. Mahesh always paid taxes on everything made out of," said the source.
During the time of raids, Mahesh, Namratha and their son Gautam were at home. Notably, Mahesh Babu is one of highest paid actors in South India. Infact, he holds the NO 1 position if his endorsements deals (3-4 crores per brand) are taken into consideration.
