The cops have booked cases against actress Bhuvaneshwari, an advocate and few others for allegedly manhandling a businessman and a head constable at Prarthana theatre in Chennai.
Mr Kumar (businessman) who came to watch the Vijay starrer Tupaki in the theater requested Damodharakrishnan (advocate) to move his car, so that he could park his vehicle. As the advocate didn't respond, Kumar tried to move his car without touching the other vehicle but accidentally hit it. Enraged with it, Damodhara krishnan who was accompanied by Bhuvanehwari deliberately hit Kumar's car and attacked him later. After some time, a group of advocates started attacking Kumar who then called the local police over the phone.
An SI and a Head Constable reached the spot and tried to pacify the advocates, but few of them attacked them too. The head constable suffered few injuries and the petrol vehicle too have been damaged. Advocates flew from the spot sensing that a group of policemen might reach there anytime soon.
Bhuvaneshwari who is said to be in an abbreviated state at the time of incident have no idea what she has been doing! Apart from encouraging the advocate to attacks she performed some dirty dancing in the public.
Cases were registered against the attackers under sections 506 (ii) (Criminal Intimidation), 147 (Rioting), 148 (Rioting with deadly weapon) and Prevention of Damage & Loss Act 1992.
