AP High Court's orders staying the operations of the committee constituted by the state government to review the films Deniakaina Ready and A Woman in Brahmanism came as a big relief to Mohan Babu and the other Producer.
Justice Chandrabanu opined that once the film gets a clearance from the Censor Board, the government has no right to set up a committee and chop off the film based that report. He also stressed that no action be taken against the two films with regard to the committee report till further orders.
The committee headed by Women and Child Welfare Principal Secretary Neelam Sahani submitted a report recommending a ban on 'A Woman in Brahmanism', complaining that there is lot of obscenity and the film would hurt religious sentiments. Other committee constituted to review Denikaina Ready, recommended several cuts.
With High Court's order, Brahmin community is in a state of shock and had no clue what to do now other than waiting till the next hearing. By the time the final judgement be delivered, the full run of Deniakaina Ready comes to an end.
