Bollywood hottie Kareena Kapoor has charged a staggering Rs 1.4 crore for a stage performance at the State Anniversary Function of Chattisgarh in November this year.
The news broke out when a ruling party leader wrote a letter to the state Assembly informed that as many as 245 artistes performed during the period Nov 1st to 7th for the Rajayotasava celebrations for which Government has paid about Rs 5.21 crores.
While Kareena topped the list with Rs 1.4 crores, other artistes who were paid bulk amounts include Singers Sonu Nigam (Rs 36.5 lakhs), Sunidhi Chauhan (Rs 32 lakhs), Dia Mirza (Rs 25 lakhs) and Composer Himesh Reshamia (Rs lakhs).
Reportedly, Kareena's performance lasted for just 8 minutes, though she thought of taking the amount for one hour. But the amount offered to her is never heard. That's the difference stardom could make and it's also the reason why film buffs go all out grab that 'One Chance'.
