We generally see kids singing classical and devotional songs while practising music though they sing all kinds of masala film songs during competitions. Taking a step further, our film industry is using a 10 year old girl to sing a hot item number now. A young school girl has now become sensation for the song she has sung. Music director Mahathi used her voice for an item song 'Talkies Talkies' in 'Yamoha Yama' movie. They say that in the likes of popular Item singers Malathi, Suchitra and Mamta Sharma, this girl too will become a top item-song singer.
Playback singing at that age and singing for a movie is definitely an appreciable fact but singing for item-songs that are flavoured with all double meaning words is not a healthy stuff, says a parent.
