Despite not tasting any huge success in 2012, Anushka needn't feel anything bad about it as some exciting things are happening to her in this new year. After bagging the historical film Rudrama Devi which was scheduled for release in the second half of 2013, she has signed another biggie!
Anushka was roped in to play the female lead opposite Prabhas in Rajamouli's next project. This is third time she is teaming up with the hunk hero and second time with the ace filmmaker for Vikramarkudu which was also the first hit for the actress. The pairing of Sweety with Prabhas has been appreciated in Billa, they looked even more stunning in the posters and promos of Mirchi. This magnum opus is a huge break for Anushka who is struggling to score a solid hit off late. As the lead pair is finalized, the film might soon go on the floors.
Touted to be a period film, Rajamouli's next is going to have a huge canvas and the director is already into the pre-production work. A huge budget of Rs 60 crore has been allotted to the project and plans were on to make it reach out as many people as it can. Chances were high that it may be a tri-lingual (Telugu, Tamil and Hindi).
